Day for Exploration

P446
What’s the plan for today. Puan Anita, her Mum, the maids and the drivers wanted to go shopping at Pengkalan Kubur. And if all of them went, and I wanted to follow, I’ll probably have to sit on the roof. Looks like I would be missing out this trip. But that’s OK, Puan Anita could do the shopping for the two of us!

I’ll probably be hanging around at the hotel with my Dad-in-law. Armed with my X100, I think I’m going to take a walk, do a bit of street photography and exploring. That should be great …..

Let’s roll!

More Buddy Bears

As mentioned last weekend, during my walk at Pavilion, I spent some time taking close-up of the United Buddy Bear by the famous fountain. There we certainly plenty to discover as the effort were much more intricate up close.

At the end, I must say that my favorite was the Spanish one. It was pretty simple, mainly pattern of colorful tiles painted onto the bear. But they were colorful and ultimately joyful. That got my vote.

The African bears we not too bad either. Most of them depicted local arts and paintings. They also tended to be colorful with plenty of animal motif. The same cant be said about the European bears as they tended to be simple and bland. Oh well! Have a look and see what you think.
