Adidas It Was

P280
The Malays called this “langkah kanan”, which literally translated to “right foot forward”. What it meant was an unexpected luck.

I planned to get myself some gear for the gym early and ended up looking for them at Pavilion. While walking around, I came across a promotion right at the main walkway. Adidas was apparently promoting their new line of sneakers and was giving away vouchers, valid only for the day.

So, I might as well use those vouchers then …. RM 80 off my gears …

I’m Back

P268
It has been a good few days since I updated my blog. I was all down to work. And plenty of it. Being on call a couple of times in one week does take its toll, and I was really looking forward to the weekend.

Anita and the boys were in Port Dickson earlier today, enjoying the beach. I was left behind, and took the time to settle some bills and had some me time at Bukit Bintang.

Nothing much to see at Low Yat since all the new products - the new line of Samsung phones and the new Canon dSLR, the 5D mark III and 1D X - had only just been announced. It would be at least another couple of months before they were available. And that’s not to mention the iPad 3 announcement due next week. Looking forward to that.

So, I was content at exploring Pavilion. Got myself a brand new pair of trainers for the gym. Gonna start going there soon. Need to shed some weight ….

More Buddy Bears

As mentioned last weekend, during my walk at Pavilion, I spent some time taking close-up of the United Buddy Bear by the famous fountain. There we certainly plenty to discover as the effort were much more intricate up close.

At the end, I must say that my favorite was the Spanish one. It was pretty simple, mainly pattern of colorful tiles painted onto the bear. But they were colorful and ultimately joyful. That got my vote.

The African bears we not too bad either. Most of them depicted local arts and paintings. They also tended to be colorful with plenty of animal motif. The same cant be said about the European bears as they tended to be simple and bland. Oh well! Have a look and see what you think.
